Year 2006: A new concert “Zenit” brain child to our long tour in South Africa and Brazil characterised by rhythm and dynamism garnered from our face to face contact with different people and cultures.
The stage: a white back drop stretching from the lighting structure that sees to its sides keyboards and guitars on the right, and a percussionist sandwiched between congas and other gadgets. To the left, the bass guitar and the red drum-set… obviously never missing.
Centre stage forms an entry point to dancers and vocalists. From the strike of the first note an impressive light design accompanies the whole show. The concert rises in pitch and tone as the music belts the airwaves throwing the crowds into frenzy.
Emotions are high with memories or discovery lingering in the minds of many. The hour goes by; rock, cool, funky, rap, pop and Latino, lots of enthusiasm and authenticity. All is captivating with dance and choreography that leaves you yearning for more.
Above all, reigns a synergy with the audience that knows no fame but gives space to the vibration of chords in unison. It leaves emotions high and puzzling.
Music with no brand nor boundaries that pierces right through the heart.
